How do I access the domain before changing the nameserver?

If you purchased a hosting package and you want to test before you change the nameserver, you will need to change the local hosts file with a text editor and add the following lines at the end of the file:

Account IP  domain ( ex 1.1.1.1 m247.ro)
Account IP  www.domain (ex 1.1.1.1 www.m247.ro)

Depending on the operating system the hosts file path is:

Windows - C: / Windows / System32 / drivers / etc / host (in case of Windows 7 you will need to open the text editor using administrator rights)
Mac OS - / private / etc / hosts

After editing the nameservers or after completing the testing, you can delete the lines added to the hosts file or add the # sign before the IP address to disable the redirect.
